Stock Market.

Mr Charles Carr reports oil his Fefldting sale, held yesterday, as follows : The entries of both cattte and shee^ were very small, only two pens of sheep came forward. Forward bullocks realised £4 7s 6d; 2-year steers, £2 15s 6d; weaners, 18s; 18 month cattle, 30s to 325 ; hoggets, 7s 3d. Messrs Lowes and lorns report at their fortnightly sale at Masterton lastThursday, stock came forward fair ia excess of advertised entries, especially in fat sheep, of which we had a big; entry ; all good quah'ty met with ready sale, but for half-fatted there was littlecompetition. Woolly hoggets and store wethers met with ready sale at improved rates. Some inferior shorn hogeefis failed to find a purchaser. In beef, we had a good yarding in both oxen and cows, and, the quality being good, a clearance was effected at better values than those of last sale. Useful steers and quiet heifers, as also all strong, young cattle, moved off freely, but old cows and weak calyes were hard to quit. Dairy stock was poorly represented, andk sold at relatively low prices. In {rigs, we had a good entry, all selling. Woollyfat ewes made 9s to 10a 6d ; shots, 6s to--6s 6d ; store wethers, 6s 6d ; woolly hoggets, 7s to 8s 6d ; fat bullocks* 100s to 115s ; email fat steers, 90s ; fat cows, 75s to 90s ; store bullocks, 80a £ store heifers, 49s to 60s; yearlings, 33s 6d to 37s 6d ; calves, 22s to 275; dairy cows, 60s to 80s ; bull, 120s ; storapigs, 12s 6d ; weaners. 6s.
