Cricket News.
A match was played at Rangiwahia on Monday last between the Apiti and Rangiwahia Clubs, resulting in a win for the former by 5 wickets and 7 runs on the first innings. Rangiwahia made 46 runs and Apiti 53 for the loss of 5 wickets, A. McMeikan being top scorer with 2G runs. A match between teams representing the Upper and Lower Pohangina was played in the township on Monday, resulting m a win for the latter by 9 wickets. Afternoon t^a was provided by the ladies. \ cricket match will be played at Birmingham on Saturday between Rangiwahia and Birmingham Cricket Clubs.
