Manchester Rifles.
The first competitions for Mrs Kirton's trophy (class A) and Captain Kirton's trophy (class B) took place on tbe Feilding range yesterday. The conditions are : The best three out of four competions. In class A, Vol. Park6r distinguished himself by putting up the possible at 200 yards, kneeling. He also made good scores at 500 and 600 yards, making the creditable total of 91. As this competition also counts for Captain Kirton's rifle (for which 16 competions were fired off last season), Vol. Parker scores his second win. Following are the full scores :—
