about Newhaven for the Derby, and 2to 1 offered afterwards. Resolute was well backed at 4 to 1. Coil was also well backed at 8 to 1, several wagers being I taken at that price and then 7 to 1 was the best offer. Charge was backed at 12 to 1, after which 10 to 1 was the best offer. Sabretache 14 to 1. The others ; at the same przee as yesterday. ; Resolute is now favorite for tbe Mcl- i bourue Cup at 12 to 1. Broken Hill, ! Hopscotch, Skipper 14 to 1, Newhaven I aud Chevalier 100 to 6L
