Nominations for all Handicaps, includ* ing jumping eyents, must be sent to the Secretary on or before WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9th, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to for* ward Postal Notes, and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Eyent to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of Public Perfor* mances for the last two years (matches included), with dates and localities ot such performances, and eaoh competitor sending in nominations must state his handicaps and his position a* the finish of each race, otherwise he will render himself liable to disqualification. The remainder of Entrance Fee on Acceptance, which can be made on ibe ground. Other events Post Entries. ' olors must be named on Nomination, Tbe Committee reserve the right to run any race nnder 300 yards in beats. Amateurs must belong to a Club affiliated with the N Z A A A, and must produce ticket of membership frcm their Club Secretary. All Amateur Eyents will be run nnder the 'New Zealand Amateur Athletio Association Rules.' The Bicycle Races will be run under therules of the New Zealand Cyclists Union, and nominations must be cent io npon the printed official forms of the N.ZC.U. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Bule 25, which reads— .' Every competitor must wear complete clothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that is jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. In eglect of this rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in tbe Sports.' Any Competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for hfe. The Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to his identity, and the correctness of hia descnption of his performances. The Committee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required declaration, and he shall not be entitled to claim any prize. There must be two competitors in eaoh event or no -first piue, three or no second, four or no thud.
