Under date the 24th October, Messrs Dalgety and Co., Limited, London, cable as follows to their Wellington agents, Messrs Levin and Co., Limited :— „ The wool market is firmer, with a brisk demand chiefly American." The rise in wheat has affected the price of linseed raw oil, which has ins creased Is 6d per gallon. At yesterday's sales an extensive supply of kauri gum was offered. Three-quar-ter scraped brought full prices, and halfscraped showed an advance of 2s.
