PROHIBITION.

TO THE EPITOR. Sir, — I think it will be recognised that I have taken an active part in the above question, and that I, with many others in this electorate, entertain a sincere and earnest conviction in the matter. I therefore offer no apology in putting the same question to Mr BaiJey as I ventured to put to Mr Lethbri<3*»e. I ask Mr Bailey to state, through your columns, whether he will pledge himself, if returned as our member, to attend and vote against each and every measure or resolution of the House having for its object Prohibition, or having any tendency in that direction ? Will Mr Bailey kindly answer " Yes " or "No " to the above question ? I am, etc., James J. Bagnall.
