(Per Press Association.) Sydney, October 22. A great performance was pat op on the Agricultural track to-day by Mr Kerr, who was placed by a triplet, on which F. G. Simpson, the New Zealander had a seat. The quarter of a mile was ran off in 26 4 ssec and the mile in lmin 57sec, both of which are Australasian records. The half mile was covered in the same time as the existing record of 54sec. Nelson, Oct. 22. Daring the three-mile cycle race, the last event of yesterday's Trafalgar Pay Sports, a small boy named Thomas Lowe ran across the track, and waa knocked down by A. W. Shallcraes, one of the competitors. The latter came down violently, breaking hia right wrist and spraining his left thumb, and be was also bruised about the body. Martin's disqualification holds good for all meetings held under the auspices of the New Sooth Wales and Victorian Leagues as well as the South Australian Leagues.
