Stock Market.
Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co. report on their Johnson ville sale as fol lows : — The beef entered for the sale yesterday was from medium to prime with some indifferent as to quality and some fairly heavy weighted. Bidding was spirited throughout. About the usual number of sheep came forward. Prices were equal to last sale rates. Pigs were well represented and sold in favour of the vendors. Cattle— Best bullocks, £$ 2s to £8 10s ; others, £1 5s to £1 10s ; smaller sorts. £6 12s 6d to £7, equal to 17s 6d and 18s the lOOlbs. Sheep— Ewes in wool, 13s 4d to 14s ; wethers in wool, 14s lid ; shorn ewes, 8s to 9s 4d ; shorn wethers 9s to 10s lOd ; lambs, 7s 6d to 8s lOd. Pigs— Porkers, 18s to 20s : others, 14s to 16s ; small pigs, 10s to 13s.
