Show amonnt to 1466, made up as follows :— Horses 295 ; cattle 93 : sheep 243 ; shearing 14; dogs 85; poultry 115; vehicles 60; pigs 37; produce 112; chopping 10, sawing 2, implements 396. There are 130 additional entries as against the number received last year, 1336, the incease being chiefly in horses, implements and poultry. Horses show an increase of 79 entries, the entries of sheep and cattle falling off, which is attributed to the conditions imposed with reference to the Herd and Flock Book.— Standard.
