DECEMBER 9th, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to for* ward Postal Notes, and not stamps, Two shillings on each Handioap Eyent to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of Public Per for* mances for the last two years (matches included), with dates and localities of such performances, and each competitor sending in nominations must state hie handicaps and his position at the finish of each race, otherwise he will render himself liable to disqualification. Tbe remainder of Entrance Fee on a cceptance, which can be made on the ground. Other events Post Entries. Colors mut- 1 be named on Nomination. The Committee reserve the right to run any race under 300 yards in heats. Amateurs must belong to a Club affili> ated with the SZAAA, and must pro* duce ticket of membership from their Club Secretary. All Amateur Eyents will be run under the 'New Zeaiand Amateur Athletic Association Rules.' The Bicycle Races will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Cyclists Union, and nominations must be sent in upon the printed official forms of the N.Z CU. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Bule 25, which reads— * Erery competitor must wear complete clothing from tbe shoulders to tbe kseee ; that is jersej (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports.' Any Competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Com* mittee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to h<s identity, and the correctness of his d< •«» senption of his performances. The Com* mittee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required declaration, and he ■hall not be entitled to claim any prize. There must be two competitors in each event or no first prize, three or no second, four or no third. Entries will be received and sporte conducted under the printed rules of the Feilding Athletic Club, obtainable from the Secretary, price Is. Admission to Grounds— Adults, Is; Children between 8 and 12 years, Halt "knee ; under 8 years, Free. Full Band in attendance, and a spacious dancing platform provided on the lawn.
