The Legislative Assembly has resolved that the provisions of the State Advances Act shall be extended to allow advances to be made to other producers as well as farmers. Sydney, October 15. In the Legislative Assembly Mr Reid, Premier, announced that he intended to re-open the register for funded stocks and issue '6 per cents at par. A million and a half had been advanced out of the Consolidated Fund to the loan account all of which had been expended, and the new issue was intended to recoup that amount. Melbourne, This Day.
