(Per Press Association.) Wellington, October 14. The Legislative Council met this morning. The Banking Bill was read a first time. Tbe Government Railway Department Classification Bill, Native Lands Laws Amendment Bill, and the Oamaru Har* bour Board Leasing Bill passed throagh Committee and their final stages at 9 p.m. and the Council adiourned till 2.80 to-morrow.
