Cricket News.

The annual meeting of members of the Beaconsfield Cricket Club was held at Mr A. E. Sandilands* residence on Saturday last. D. P. Buchanan, Esq, was elected President and Messrs W. R. Godfry and F. E. Pickering vicepresidents. On Saturday next, the 17th inst, a match will be played between Married v. Single, in Mr H. Ross' paddock. All members and intending members are kindly requested to attend. Play will start at 1 30 in the afternoon. The following teams will represent their respective sides in the match Colyton v. Employers and Employes of Messrs Holland and Nissen's sawmill : — Colyton — W. Simpson, B. Simpson, H. Garlick, W. Power, J. King, Francis, Fitch, Blake. Allerby, Woodman, Greig ; emergencies, Ivess, Burton, Adsett, Hill. Sawdust Club—H. Wright (captain), C. Palmer, A. Palmer, P. ISis&en, W. Little, A. Adsett, A. Little, Rugsted, J. Stuart ; emergency, H. Thomas; umpire, H. C. Nissen. The match will be played at Colyton and will start at 1.30 sharp.
