A Christchurch man gave a newsboy £2 reward for returning a £5 note. Additions are made to-day to Mr C. Carr's Feilding sale to be held on Friday next. It Is becoming absolutel^wuHsafe to leave bicycles in the streets of Wellington at night for even a few minutes, for there is evidence that the stealing of them is becoming systematic. Last Thursday night a New Hudson was taten from the front of the Junior Wellington Club, and it is only one of several which have disappeared lately. The matter was reported to the police. The Agricultural Show takes place at the end of this month.
