NEW ZEALAND TELEGRAMS.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland. Oct. 3. It was decided to revive the Auckland Rifle Association. At a meeting of the English Co-opera-tive delegates iu the Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Holland presided. There was a large attendance of prominent citizens. After addresses by the dele gates, explaioing their opiaion, a resolution was carried thanking them for their visit and hoping the result would be in creased trade with the Mother Country and the strengthening of Imperial unity with New Zealand. The Dairy Association has purchased Reynolds & Co.'s creameries and business. The purchase includes 15 creameries and the factory at Ngaruawahia carrying out Reynold's contracts. The purchase makes the Association one of the largest dairy companies in the colony. Haweea, This Day. At a sale of town sections in Hawera on Saturday six sections totalled .£2015. Dunedin, October 4. The Wellington case of Bing, Harris and Co. v. Joseph Nathan and Co., in which Sir R. Stout, on behalf of plaintiffs, was to move for a new trial, has been settled out of court, Mr Harris has given i'los to the Dunedin Hebrew congregation, towards the reduction of its debt.
