Stock Market.
♦ Mr Chas. Carr reports on his Feilding stock sale, on Frjday, 2nd October, as follows :— More stock came forward than was advertised. The attendance was small and bidding slack for all classes, and little business was .transacted. Mr N. Gorton again kindly officiated on my behalf. Prices obtained were :— Cattle : Fat bullocks, medium, L 5 ss ; weaners, 20s 6d ; yearlings, 90s 6d to 33s 6d ; empty heifers, L2 5s to L34s ; springing heifers, L 3 10s ; 2^- years steers, La 3s. Sheep : Wethers, forward, 11s 6d.
