Wellington Land Board.

Titles to be granted if conditions complied with :— A. E. and F. Whitehead, sections 2 and 9, Blocks V and VIII, Ongo and Apiti ; E. Everiss, section 8, Block XH, Ongo. Transfer approved— A. Burns to *. O. Koberstein, section 46, Block VII, Ongo. ... Transfers to be approved, if conditioas complied with : — J. R. Johnson to W. Bonstead, section 204, Block XII, Mangaone; M. Fakey to F. Percy, section 13, Block XV, do.; E. Taylor to Mrs Herbert, section 2, Block 1, Puketoi ; D. TJrquhart to R. M. Hines, section 1, Block V, Momohaki ; F. L. Vette to R. Scott, section 3, Makobine. It was decided to offer for lease tbe reserves at Birmingham and Apiti for seven years at £1 each per annum. The Minister of Lands forwarded the conditions for lease of the reserve occupied bv Mr Wilcox, at Ashurst, and the Board decided to recommend the Betting aside of a portion for the cemetery as well as the bush part for picnic purposes. D. W. B. Murray, surveyor, whose application for land in the Awarua Block when not open for selection was rather strongly resented at the last meeting of the Board, came up again when the Board again, refused to pive any preference over other selectors. It was decided to refer reserve 30, Block XII, Apiti, to Flavell's section. Mrs Hayward's application to hold section 46, Block IV, Umntoi, was referred to the Public Trustee. Section 14, Block IV, and section 14, suburban Pobangina, purchased at the recent sales, were forfeited for non-pay-ment of the balance of the purchase money. _____
