(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, Sept. 30. In spite of tbe weather there was a tair attendance at the Addington yards to-day, but the entries were not very large. Fat Cattle— The supply of fat cattle consisted of 115 head af very fair quality. I The sale opened briskly, but dragged towards the end. Steers brought from L 5 5s to L 9 2a 6d. Beef is still without alterations, from 19s to 21s per lOOlbs for best, and from 17a to 18s for secondary. Dairy Cattle— Only a small entry of dairy cattle came forward, and tbe sale was very dull, the top price being L 5 17s 6d. Fat Lambs—S old well at prices ranging from 10s to 16s sd. 1 Store Cattle — There was a small entry and a slow sale, yearlings, L 2; 2-year-old steers, L 2 15s : 3-year-old steers, L 4 7s 6d ; forward cows, L 3 15s to L 5. Fat Sheep — Good entry ; best freezing wethers, 15s to ISs, and from 18s 6d to 21s for extra quality. Fat ewes, superior quality, 14s to 19s ; medium do, 12s to ISs 9d ; and from 16s 6d for extra quality medium do, 6s 6d to 9s 6d; merino ewes, 7 a 9d to 9s 4d. Store sheep—Competition slack. Best four and six-tooth wethers brought from 13s to 15s ; two and four-tooth wethers 12s to 14s ; hoggets, 9s to 119 3d ; fourtooth ewes and iambs, up to 17s 4d. Pigs — Entry small, baconers made 35s to 445 ; light do, 29s to 355 ; porkers, 20s to 288 ; stores, up to 20s ; baconers averaged about 3}d per lb, and porkers, 3£d.
