A sammou3 was pleaded at the Supreme ■ Court to-day calling on thosa concerned ; to show cause why the persona named should not be pablicly examined as to the promotion, formation and conduct of the business of the Colonial Bank. The persons named are the Hon. 6. McLean Managing Director of the Colonial Bank, Mr William Watson, iata Inspector, Mr Henry McKenzte, late General Manager. Hons. W. D. Stewart, W. H. Keynolda, late directors, Hesars W. B. Yigers and D. G- Davidson, late Inspectors, and C. George A. Birch, late Manager.
