Cycling Notes.

Members of the local Cycling Club are reminded that nominations for the road race close with the Secretary (o-night. The Committee of the Feilding Cycling Club will meet in the club room at 8 o'clock this evening, riding members of the Club are also invited to attend. The opening run of the Feilding C.C. will leave Manchester Square, for Colyton, at 2.30 p.m. to-morrow. Lady riders and non-members are invited to attend. An invitation to the opening run and lantern parade of the Bangitikei Cyehng Club, to take place to-morrow, has been | accorded to members of the local club.

(Per Press Association.) Sydney, Sept. 26. The League's International Scratch Race was won by O'Brien, McCoombe second and Martin third. After a fine finish O'Brien won by a foot. Martin, who had been riding a waiting race, was beaten by a length. Time, 12min 54 2-ssec. The Wheelmen's Leagne Spring Handicap was won by Eichler (190 yds) Shaw, (140 yds) 2nd, Falwick (150yd3)3rd. Won by half a wheel, in 2min 14 2-ssec. Body, of New Zealand, and Martin, of America, also started. London, Sept. 28. The newspapers generally refer in highly complimentary terms to Megson's victory in the 10 mile championship. The Sportsman refers to the matter as a great finish and states that the sprinting of the winner is a revelation to cyclists. The wia was a ?ery popular one. Lewis started in the race. The Times says Me&son rode extremely well.
