(Per Press Association.! Wellington, Sept. 24. ■ The Hon. Sir George Wbnmore moved that the evidence taken before the Public Petitions Committee on tbe two petitions of Sir Walter Buller in relation to the Horowhenua Block be laid on the table and printed. The matter was discussed at great length, and was eventually "talked oat " without a decision being arrived at. The Public Revenues Act Amendment Bill passed its final stages. The Council adjourned till Monday.
