Messrs Gorton and Son report :— Our Feilding sale yesterday was poorly attended, and bidding dragging throughi out. The bulk of the cattle was made up of inferior wcaners and yearlings, for i which no demand existed, and little ; business was done. Sheep were not up to the average, either in quantity or quality, but all hub iwo pens of hoggets found purchasers at late rates. Prices ' realised were as follows : — "Weaners and yearlings, 29s to 80s ; small do., 11s to lHs 6d ; milkers, £3 ; 2i years, £2 18s ; 3 -years steers, £3 15s; empty cows, £2 to £2 ss. Sheep. — Store wethers, mixed ages, 9s 3d to 9s 5d ; 4-tooth forward wethers, 11s to lls lid ; mixed hoggets, 7s Id to bs 5d ; owes with lambs, lls.
