Frightful Accident.
(Per Press Association) Wellington, September 19. Ad old resident of Gladstone, near Carterton, named Thomas Row, was pinned to the ground by a falling tree. After tome nmf be managed to wriggle out •ad crawlt-d a distance of ten chains to his bouse getting over a four vailed fence. Hia leg wai comple ely shuttered, the th>gh bone and joint bones being fractured and protruding through the flesh. He never got o\er the shock and died last night. He was upwards of 60 years old, and a single man.
