(Per Press Association.) London, Bepfc. IS. Before leaving America Tynan unfoldod fi plot which was intended to be carried ont here. A house was to be secured opposite Mnrlborough House (the Prince of Walrs' residence) and a tunnel driven through to the latter, which was to be destroyed by dynamite. A group of Nihilists in Chicago, headed b.y one Rabinovitz, a chemist, supported the plot, and provided funds for its being carried out. A letter found in the possession of Wallace refers to the attacks to be made on the crowned heads about to visit Queen Victoria. Bombs were found under the pillows and beds occupied by Hainesand Wallace. One was of k new pattern and in the form of a tap. Tynan, when examined in his cell, denied any knowledge of Bell until confronted with letters taken from Bell. He admitted meeting Wallace in Antwerp. Tynan claims the protection of the French flag, and has cabled to President Cleveland, insisting on his release. The Irish National Alliance has raised a di-fi-nee fund of L 50.000. The C/.ar doubts whether any danger threatens him. The American papers minimise and ridicule the plot.
