The Wool Sales.

(Per Press Association.) London, Sept. 16. Biddings at the Antwerp wool sales were animated, but prices declined from 5 to 10 centimes. Sydney, Sept. 16. At the official opening of the new season's wool sales there was a record attendance, a large number of English and Continental buyers being present. The bidding, however, was languid, and a good proportion of the wool offered was withdrawn. Compared with the opening sale of last year, greasy merinos showed a decline of 5 per cent., and scoured of 7£ per cent. Crossbrcda are unaltered. The top price for grasies was 7Jd ; scoureds, Is l£d.
