Feilding Athletic Club.

The committee of the Feilding Athletic Club met at Mr Sherwill's office last evening, when there was a good attendance. Mr W. G. Haybittle occupied the cbair. Messrs F. Y. Lethbridge and E. Goodbehere were elected vicfl-presidents, and Mr W. G. Haybittie, treasurer. The following were elected members of the Club :— Messrs W. Dickson, J. G. Cobbe, H. W. Davy, and C. Bray ; junior. It was decided to hold sports on Boxing Day as usual, and that the following be a committee to draw up a programme, viz., Messrs Saywell, Whisker, James, Fisher, Scott and the secretary. Resolved, That the programme include amateur events. Resolved, That the secretary be instructed to have the racing tracks rolled as soon as possible). Resolved, That Mr James be instructed to prepare plans and estimate of cost of additions to the competitors' dressing shed and that Messrs Saywell, Fisher, Haybittle and the secretary be a committee to confer with Mr James and report at the next meeting. Resolved, That Mr Bray be instructed to prepare an estimate of cost of ploughing and levelling the Oval and banking the corners of the racing track, the estimate to include four-lap (as at present) and three-lap tracks. The meeting tben adjourned for a fortnight.

The subcommittee appointed to draw up a programme will meet at Mr Sherwill's oifice at 8 p.m. this evening.
