(Per Press Association.) London, Sept. 10. The weekly returns to the Bank of England published to day, show the total reserve of L 32,380,000, and the proportion of reserve to liabilities 59.36. New Zealand frozen mutton, first quality 3&d, second 2Jd, lamb sd. Tbe New Zealand hemp market is slow at auction, 200 bales being withdrawn. The English wheat market has a strong tone, but prices are unchanged, Continental firm, and American unchanged. Tallow — Fine mutton 20s 3d, medium 19s, fine beef 18s 6d, medium 17s 6d. The Bradford wool market has an upward tendency. West Australian 3_ do., 112. New Zealand 4 do., 117] ; 8_ do., 109} 3 do., 101 1. The sugar market is quiet ; Germhn Bsloid, Java lis sd.
