A man, named Frank MeKinlp.v, charged with lunacy, died in the police cells last night. Medical assistance was of no avail. When arrested ho ap peared to be in good health. Waihawa, This Day. A man named Macey, lineman, was drowned while crossing the Waipawa river on horseback. It is surmised he was either entangled or stunued as the horse was swept down the river.
