Earthquakes Predicted.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland. Sept. 6. Mr Stovenson, F.R.A.S., states that very high tides will be experienced on the New Zealand coast on Bch and 9ch insts. He also states that the period from 6tb to 10th of September is one during which atmospheric or seismic disturbances may occur. If seismic, it will probably be along some line of weakness in the terrestrial crust.
