The N.Z.L. and M.A. Company, Ltd., report under date 2nd September, as follows:— Tallow : There is a fair demand. New Zealand fine mutton tallow is worth 20s 6d per cwt. New Zealand good beef tallow is worth 18s per cwt.
(Per Press Association) London, Sept. 3. The Morayshire's hares arrived in excellent condition, and are bringing 3s to 3s 3d. The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,510,000 quarters, and for the Continent 630,000 quarters. The Australian and New Zealand Mortgage Agency Company's A\ per cent debentures are quoted at 103.
