The Matabele Rising.
FURTHER TALK OF FIGHTING. (Per Press Association.) Capetown, August 30. The Cbief Gambo says the people are mad not to see the Matabele are merely temporizing in order to obtain supplies, and the offer of surrender was a mere pretence. Mr Rhode's interview with the Indunas in South West Matoppos had no result, the Chiefs being confident of tbeir ability to resist tbe white troops.
