Ewes in lamb— Until lambing is over little will be done : expect a keen demand then. Fat cattle -Prime bnllock beef. 17s tc 18s; cows', in better demand, 16s to 16s, Store cattle -All classes selling freely, and as the season advances we expect to see really good sales effected; wean. 'en selling at 24s to 80s ; yearlings, 38s ; 18 months. 465 ; 2-years steers, L 2 10f to L 8; 8-years bullocks, L 4 to L 4 10s, Dairy cattle— No sales to report, except last week's Hutt sale. Weaners so bad that very little came forward. Toj price for cows. aged. L 5 ss. Pigs- Slips, 7s to 9s ; porkers, 18s 6d to 235 ; baconers, 88s to 455. Sheepskins — Market excellent and Mod prices being paid at our weekly ■ales. Best butchers' skins, 4s 6d •! 6s ; shade more for anything very spe< trial; dry country skins, well woolled and dean pelts, 6d to s£d and 6d foi spoeiali. 4d to 4Jd for medium.
