The Matabele Rising.
(Per Press Association.) Capetown, August 18. A column, under Captain Thomas, has built a fort at Gawali river, and repulsed an attack by three impis of the Matabele natives. It is thought that tbe Matabele are tired of fighting, but hesitate to surrender. Rhodes is still negotiating with tbem.
