Paling and Co., Ltd, Sydney), begs to inform the residents of Feilding district that at the request of several old friends he is paying a short visit for the purpose of looking to their instruments; but, finding so many others in a state of collapse, he, on his friends' advice, has decided to prolong his stay for another month. Mr Cutler is the first and only bona fide maker in the Colonies ; haying made the first in Wellington in 1876 to the order of the late Thomas Mills, Esq, for which he received 95 guineas. His subsequent success was in Christchurch, where he made seventy three instruments, and the lowest price obtained was 65gs. Since 1884 he has been in N.S.W., connected with the respected firm above alluded to.
