The following programme -was drawn up for the approval of the Metropolitan Club: — Maiden Hurdles, :>5 soys, l ; j miles ; Ashurst Guineas, 50 soys, 1 mile ; Flying Handicap, ;35 soys, 6 furlongs ; Manawatu Gorge Handicap, 100 soys, H miles ; Maidon Plate, 25 soys, 1 mile and a distance ; Visitors' Handicap, ;*5 soys, 7 furlongs ; Siberia Handicap, 85 soys, 1 mile ; Scurry Stakes Handicap, 25 soys, 5 furlongs.
