HORRIBLE MURDERS. (Per Press Association.) Athens, August 10. Colonol Abdullah, noted for his cruelty towards the Christians, has been appointed Governor of IJernkleion, One thousand armed Moslems murdered thirty Christians in St John's monastery at Crete. Ki^ht officers of the Athens Garrison have sailed for Crete in a steamer, which also carries a large quantity of arms an& ammunition.
