♦- — (Per Press Association). New Plymouth, This Dny. Two lads named Jcffcries and Young were caught on Sunday night entering Joy's (hairdresser) shop by a policeman on the watch. Skeleton keys were found in their possession. They were brought before the Court this morning and remanded. Napier, This Day. The body of T. W. Tufnel, accountant of the Hawke's Bay Timber Company, missing since July 27 tb, was found in the Tutaekuri river on Saturday. The inquest disclosed no cause of death. An examination of his accounts showed everything was correct. Deceased leaves a wife and three children. WOODVILLE, August 10. At a meeting of the shareholders of the E, A. Haggen and Company, Limited, the offer of J. Grant to purchase the Examiner was accepted, and tbe Company will be wound up. Creditors and shareholders will receive 2()s in the £.
