Elector al Boundaries.

Wellington, August 5. It is stated the constituencies of Waikouaiti in Ota<;o, Avon, in Canterbury, and Inangahua on the West Coast, will be wiped out. An old member of the House well acquainted with the district gives me the following as probable alterations :■- Electorates in the vicinity of Palmerston and Otaki electorate to commence at Waikanae, taking in the counties of Horowhenua, Manuka and the Boroughs of Feildiug and Foxton. The Palmerston electorate to comprise the county of Oroua and the Borough of Palmerston. The Rangitikei electorate to include Kiwitea, Pohangina and Rangitikei conDties with the Borough of Marton snd the town districts of Bulls and Haleorube. — Standard, The Rspres^ntannn Commissioners arß on the eve of the completion of their labours, and rnmou's are assuming definite shape as to whore the new electorates will be. The incr^se of population in Wellington and the vicinity will result in the locality having further representation in the House. It is nor considered probable that the numbers of city members will be increased by one and the gener-tl opinion is that the'Snburbs electorate will b«» divided into two portions, one p*rt consisting of the extreme southern portion of Wellington. Kilbirme, Karon and ont towards Johnsonville and Porirnn, while the pi >ces along the Hntt Vnlley will compose the other pure. A new electorate will also be created buween thi* Wellington and Taranaki dis:ricts, and the old Te Aroha electorate will probably be resurrected. — Times.
