Norfolk Island.
(Per Press Association) Sydsey, August 5. In the Assembly, Mr Copeland moved an adjournment to discuss the control of Norfolk Island. He viewed with misgiving the extension of New South Wales territory. The administration ot the island would be very cosily if it was intended to give the same self-governing power as the rest of the colony. The Premier, replying, hinted at the advantages to both sides arising out of the acquisicion, and said it would have been churlish to refuse the offer of the Home Government.
