A match was played on the Oval yesterday afternoon between the Unionists and Red Star seconds (both of Feilding), and resulted in a win for the former by 17 points to nil. Tries were scored by A. The Maaawatu football team to play against Canterbury, will not be chosen I until after tbe match against Nelsou. The Obingaiti football team forfeited to Hunterville yesterday in tbe Cup match. The Hunterville and Marton teams meet iv Wa.uganui on Saturday, to decide supremacy in the cup match.
