Feilding State School Committee.
The monthl}' meeting of the abov< was held last evening. Present — Messri W. Cartbew (chairman), W. G. Hay bittle (secretary), R. J. Thompson, -T Gould, C. Bray j'mr., E. Goodbehere Jas. Wood, Key. A. S. lunes Jones. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Headmaster's report was reac and showed thts attendance for the pas month to have been 318 ; that on Aug ust Ist Miss Mousley (pupil teacber began her duties at the school, and A Haybittle's (a cadet) appointment datec August Ist. It also stated repairs wen required to the school. Accounts amounting to £2 5s 6d wer< passed for payment. Mr Jones reported, on behalf of tb< visiting committee, having effected tb< repairs as reported necessary to th< school. Gravel was required at th< It was resolved, That the Wanganui Education Boarc be requested to supply twenty yards o metal to the schoolmaster's residence and the committee would find the labor That a wooden panel be put in bacl door in place of broken glass. That Messrs E. Goodbehere and Bra] be a visiting committee for the ensuing month. The meeting then adjourned.
