(Per Press Association) Brisbane, August 2. The Five Mile Australian Amateur Cycling Championship was decided here on Saturday : — Smith, (Brisbane) 1 ; Turner, (Melbourne) 2 ; Marsden (Sydney) 3. Won easily. Time, llmin 57 sees. London, August 2. In the England v. Australian cycling match the former won by 18 points, including the mile and 5 mile races. Lewis, Payne, and Megson were easily defeated, but the last named was cheered for his plucky riding.
