A Southland Mystery.
— o (Per Press Association) Invebcabgell, July 24. The police are making enquiries regarding the death of a married woman in the country district, who had been attended by a practitioner lately arrived in the Colony, but who had not yet so far as is known, complied with the law as to lodging a diploma with the Registrar. In■peetor Pardy, Mr Poynton, S.M., and two doctors have gone to the locality, and the body is to be exhumed.
