Wanganui District Court.

(Per Press Association) Wansanui, July 20. At the sittings of the District Court to clay, before Judge J. C. Martin, two youths, J. Taylor and Norman Hamlin, pleaded guilty of receiving stolen goods. Taylor's sentence was postponed until another charge against him in the Supreme Court at New Plymouth is decided. Fred. Clifford, for a grossly indecent &ct, was sentenced to eighteen months' hard labor. J. G. Isabella Davidson, a young girl, pleaded guilty to theft of a number of articles of clothing, and her sister, Ada Davidson, pleaded not guilty. In the latter case the jury have not agreed and were locked up for the night.
