More Turkish Atrocities.
(Per Press Association.) Athens, July 17. A meeting of the Cretan Assembly is regarded as impossible, owing to the resumption of hostilities. There was desperate fighting at Kalynes and frequent skirmishes. Elsewhere the Turks are trying to cut short Christian lives. London, July 15. The Powers sent a strongly-worded protest to the Sultan complaining of the conduct of the Turkish troops in Crete. Four hundred Armenians were massacred at Egin, aod the city pillaged.
