Under the reorganisation of the Justice Department Morgan was appointed deputy-sheriff in addition to the office of chief clerk, at an increased salary, which entailed more work. Albany, This Day. The French mail steamer Ausfcralien arrived with a case of small pox alfoard. The patient is a fireman. It is of a mild form, but the local passengers and visitors are quarantined.
