(Per Press Association) London, Jnly 9. The wool sales continue spirited and prices firm. Nearly all the lots offered were sold. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) has received the following cable message from London : — Wool — Since close of last sales scoured merino super, greasy, washed and scoured merino medium and inferior, fine washed and scoured crossbred, medium washed and scoured crossbred, coarse washed and scoured crossbred, greasy merino lambs, medium and inferior, are par to per lb lower. Other descriptions unchanged. Wools of a faulty character are neglected. I'here is no American demand. The total quantity catalogued to date is 84,000 bales. The total quantity with drawn to date is 6500 bales.
