«. Messrs Gorton and Son report.— We held a large and successful sale at Feilding yesterday before a large attendance. All classes of sheep sold freely and all but three pens were sold under the bammer. All cattle but two pens changed hands. We quote: — Cattle — Breeding cows, £3 Is ; short-, horn weaners, 42 6s ; 18-month mixed, £2 lls ; fat cows, 4*3 11s; forward cows, £2 18s 6d ; ruediuo> weaners, 275. Sheep— Fat wethers, lls 9d ; fat and forward wethers, 10s 3d to lls 6d ; store wethers, in low condition, 8s to 8s Id ; fat ewes, 9s 4rl ; fat ami forward ewes, Hs Od, 8s 7d to Ss lOd ; ewes in lamb, 8s (id to 9s ; mixed lambs, Gs lOd to 7s lOd ; inferior lambs, 4s to 4s 9d. Horses— Maori weeds, 10s to 4:2 6s.
