o Messrs A. G. Tame and Co. report for tbe week ending July Ist:— Fat sheep, no alteration, prime wethers very firm ; sales 12s 6d to 18s for heavy weights; medium, 10s to lis; fat ewes, prime weights, 9s to 10s ; store sheep, wethers, very scarce. We have more buyers tban sellers. Best wetbers, well grown and fresh, 9s to 10s ; store ewes, 4 and 6tootb, keenly competed for, 8s to 9s 6d for good sheep ; full-mouth ewes, 6s to 7s 6d; hoggets, well grown sheep, 7s 6d. Fat Cattle — Shade firmer, and demand from the South for really prime cattle ; best beef, 17s ; cows, 14s. Store Cattle — Sales of weaners, 20s to 255 ; yearlings, 88s to 42s ; 2-year old steers, 60s to 60s. Dairy cattle — Very quiet week, no good cows offering. We expect to place some large lines to calve in spring shortly. Pigs— Baconers, 38s to 455; porkers, 18s to 28s and firm ; slips, 5s to 6s. Sheepskins — Demand is greater than the supply, Jail coming tor our weekly sales were well competed for,! 5d to sjd per lb for best dry skins ; 8d to 4d for light and inferior, best green skins, 4s 6d.
